Community Plan
What is the Community Plan?
The Community Plan is the result of wide consultation. Representatives from the voluntary and private sectors have been working with councillors from the local authorities, Wiltshire Council and Devizes Town Council in putting together a plan that will improve the quality of life for the people who live, work, or study in the Devizes Community Area.
The plan has taken into account the views of the public through various means including research panels, People's Voice (18+) and Tomorrow's Voice (13-18) each with 300 and 150 members respectively, and also through consultation forums, the largest of these being an event held in the Devizes Corn Exchange, when approximately 100 people attended.
The Community Area Plan sets out the community's aspirations. Achieving these will rely on resources being available.
