Residents in Wiltshire are being asked if they want a new health record intended to help in unscheduled, emergency and out of hours situations. This NHS press release explains more.

The Department of Work and Pensions is consulting on the new benefit rules underpinning Personal Independence Payment and Disability Living Allowance (DLA) (following the Welfare Reform Act 2012 which specifies the structure of the new benefit).
The consultation focuses on the new rules for the Personal Independence Payment including on:
· Eligibility e.g. residence and presence tests and children turning 16 years
· Payability for certain groups e.g. residents of care homes
· Requirements for reassessing DLA recipients e.g. what people who claim DLA now can expect to change
· Passporting arrangements e.g. how the benefit will be a gateway for claiming other benefits
