Dr Daniel Flanagan 

Clinical lead

Daniel Flanagan MD FRCP is a Consultant Physician working at University Hospital, Plymouth. After graduating from St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London he continued his medical training in London and then Wessex. Daniel has also held positions as visiting lecturer at the University of Adelaide and is an Associate at Yale University School of Medicine, USA. He is also an honorary associate professor at the Peninsula University, Plymouth Medical School.

He has worked as Chief of Medicine and associate medical director at Derriford Hospital Plymouth, as a member of the Department of Transport Medical advisory panel on Driving and Diabetes and is a medical advisor to the CQC. 

Daniel has worked as one of the inpatient diabetes team in Plymouth since 2001. 



       


 

Eva Lynch

Eva has worked as the assessment manager for the JAG accreditation programme for the past 5 years. Prior to working in the accreditation unit, Eva worked at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust as part of the colorectal cancer team. 


 
 

Rachael Follows

DCAP mentor

Rachael is a National Clinical Advisor for Health Education England. She has over 30 years experience in healthcare, including regional and national quality improvement and quality assurance roles. A JAG lead assessor and trainer, she has supported other programmes within the Accreditation Unit.
