Register today to get involved in improving inpatient diabetes care through accreditation of your service

Who is eligible to register with DCAP and to work towards accreditation?

All NHS services that deliver inpatient care for patients with diabetes

Subscription

The accreditation subscription is charged annually and will be £2,200 per service. We are currently offering a £500 early bird discount for the first 25 services that sign up to the programme.

Why is the annual subscription the same each year, when I don’t receive a full assessment every year?

The annual subscription covers the cost of accreditation, including assessment, over the course of 5 years and is paid in annual instalments.

What does the annual subscription include?

The annual subscription includes:

  • attendance at accreditation training sessions
  • access to the website including the self-assessment tool
  • access to the resource library, which will contain examples of best-practice from across accredited services
  • a supportive programme team available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

If you would like to learn more about the DCAP programme before registering, you can set up a call with the DCAP team to go through information for services and any questions you may have. Please email AskDCAP@rcp.ac.uk to request a call.

Eli Lilly and Company has provided sponsorship funding for the early bird discounts and has had no involvement in or influence over the design of the programme, or any of its written materials.
